Salt & Light in Winter ❄️🕯️
Matthew 5:13–16 calls us to:

Be the Salt. Be the Light. Even in Winter.
When Love Looks Like Action ❄️ | Salt & Light

Jesus said,
“You are the salt of the earth.
You are the light of the world.”

In winter, salt melts the ice.
Light pushes back the darkness.

In the same way, our kindness can soften hearts,
and our love can warm the cold places in this world.

We don’t serve for praise.
We serve so others may see God’s love through us.

Today I cleared my neighbor’s driveway —
not for recognition,
but because love looks like action.

Let your light shine.
Let your salt bring healing.
And let your life glorify God.

Matthew 5:13–16

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for allowing us to be your salt and light to the world. I pray I may effectively shine my light to help others and be their salt that nurtures, nourishes and enlightens them to your ways.

In your holy name, Amen.
